Frankfurt Auto Show, the tradition continues

First of the major car shows of the season, the Frankfurt auto show opens its doors to the public on September 13. The great mass of the European automotive business is the first and one of the most important to present a first yearly picture of the industry.

The Frankfurt Motor Show, called IAA, is not new. In fact, the first traces of a German autoshow gets back some 115 years ago, while eight vehicles was demonstrated. Today, the area has more than one million square feet, and welcomes thousands of cars around the world.

For the 2013 edition (remember that the Frankfurt Motor Show takes place every two years, alternating with the World Auto Paris), more than 12,800 journalists have been accredited to attend the press days during which 330 exhibitors will unveil nearly 90 world or European premieres.

During the ten-day event, no less than 950,000 visitors will cross the turnstiles.
