2015 Hyundai Genesis sedan previewed

What you are looking at here are the first images of the 2015 Hyundai Genesis sedan released by its maker. While these images are computer generated, this is what the new model is set to look like.

The 2015 Genesis will get an official release in Korea later this year, ahead of its international debut in January at the 2014 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), in Detroit, Michigan.

This new Genesis is the first Hyundai product designed under the tutelage of Peter Schreyer, who earlier this year was named the Head of Design for both Hyundai and Kia. Schreyer, who had previously worked for Audi, has certainly brought some European design flair to the Koreans, and the 2015 Hyundai Genesis is the first model to use his 'Fluidic Sculpture 2.0' design language, which will form the basis of all the next generation Hyundai models.

While no technical details have been shared yet, the new model is expected to carry over the current models V6 and V8 engines, mated to eight-speed automatic gearboxes.

Hyundai has been extensively testing the new Genesis sedan at the Nürburgring race track in Germany, tuning its latest creation to have the driving feel and dynamics of the best Euro-sedans. You can also expect it to be on par on technology against anything offered by its rivals. We will bring you all the latest details, as they are revealed.

The 2015 Hyundai Genesis sedan is expected to arrive in Canadian showrooms by the middle of next year.
