Not only have they been attending most of the major automotive events around the globe, they also just threw a huge party at Kensington Gardens (one of the Royal Parks in London, England), to celebrate the brand, while also introducing its most recent ventures.

Aston Martin has had a long relationship with Italian coachbuilder Zagato, and at this event, showed off their most recent projects, the DB9 Spyder Zagato Centennial roadster, and the DBS Coupe Zagato Centennial.

Both these cars are based on production Aston Martins models, but wear completely new skin. The DB9 Spyder Zagato was commissioned by an American car collector Peter Read, while an anonymous Japanese collector signed the on dotted line for the DBS Coupe Zagato.

The cars were designed by Zagato’s design chief Norihiko Harada, who said it was a difficult job to redesign “one of the most beautiful modern sports cars around.”

Neither Aston Martin nor Zagato gave out any technical specifications for these two models.

While Aston Martin and Zagato have worked together to produce limited-edition production models in the past, these two will remain one-offs.
