As usual, there’s a lot to see at the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto. This year, a lot of new and thoroughly redesigned models from just about every manufacturer can be admired, and there are even a few surprises.
Although we’ve been talking about it for some time now, the production version of the Tesla Model X is making its world auto show debut in Toronto. It can be found in the Auto Exotica section, next to exhilarating cars such as the Ferrari 488 GTB, the McLaren 650S, the Maserati GranTurismo and many others.
At the other end of the spectrum, the 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 sedan made its North-American debut, while many all-new vehicles that were recently introduced at the Los Angeles, Detroit and Montreal shows are all presented and accounted for in Toronto. Those include the 2017 Ford GT, 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, the 2017 Infiniti Q60, the 2017 Lincoln Continental, the 2017 Mercedes-Benz SLC, the 2016 smart fortwo cabrio, the 2017 Chevrolet Cruze Hatchback and 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV, the 2017 Kia Niro, the 2017 Honda Ridgeline, the 2016 Mazda CX-9, the 2016 Volkswagen Beetle Dune, the 2017 Jaguar F-PACE and the 2017 Genesis G90.
The 2016 Toronto Auto Show is open to the public at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from February 12 to 21.
