The LeMay Museum at the Auto Show in New York

There weren’t only new cars inside the Jacob Javits Convention Center, home of the 2014 New York Auto Show.

Out of the spotlight turned towards shiny new car unveilings and concept models overflowing with technology, there was also a nice collection of vehicles that would have made any antique car fan drool.

Parked against an grey brick wall and technically not part of the show, these cars were waiting to be put on display in the LeMay Museum.

LeMay - America's Car Museum is located in Tacoma, Washington in an imposing building that houses about 350 cars and welcomes thousands of visitors annually. The cars come from various collections across the world as well as from the 3500 cars that comprise the LeMay Museum collection

On the occasion of the first weekend of the New York Auto Show, a small group of cars were exhibited in Hall 1 of the Jacob Javits Center. Before these cars were to enter their respective displays, we were able to capture a few images, including one of a spectacular Ferrari 365 GTS Daytona / 4 1973, a Jaguar E-Type and a Duesenberg SJ.

You can view the images of these historic cars in our photo gallery.
